Working at home is fine but it's working in solitude. This Friday morning class gives me the opportunity to work with like-minded enthusiastic people. There were two courses available at our local college but these have now closed and cease to exist leaving lots of people working alone in isolation. This friendly morning workshop class helps to overcome this.

When I plucked up the courage to walk into the room full of talented artists I thought I'd made a mistake. I had not painted before but I experienced a warm welcome and support for my efforts. Above all from the teacher I have learnt a lot about watercolour its {do`s and dont`s } and art in general. From being an absolute beginner I have gained in confidence in my drawing and painting skills and found friendship and kindness in a warm and stimulating atmosphere.

The Tutor Nick has an infectious enthusiasm for art. He looks for the creativity which is in all of us and encourages each individual to find the pleasure of creativity. Nick deploys his comprehensive knowledge of art and art history to demonstrate different ideas and techniques used by past masters. His comments are always positive. I always look forward to watching our paintings progress week by week and his suggestions for improvement.
